Something New Entertainment Bridal Disc Jockey service’s own DJ Anna-Jeannine “AJ9” Herman spent the past week in Johnson City, Tennessee participating in The Professional Process, an intensive, sixteen hour, two-day seminar developed by celebrity Master of Ceremonies and Wedding Entertainment Director Peter Merry, author of The Best Wedding Reception… Ever!, owner of Merry Weddings, Inc., 2003-2004 American Disc Jockey Association President, and founder of the Wedding Entertainment Directors™ Guild (W.E.D. Guild™) and attending the Appalachian Regional Mobile Disc Jockey’s fourth annual conference (ARM DJs 4.0).

Through her study in the Professional Process seminar series, DJ AJ9 has now incorporated new organizational strategies, entertainment techniques, and technical processes to continue to build the level of service that Something New Entertainment clients experience, raising the bar of how special event entertainers can assist brides, grooms, and their families in creating fun and memorable events filled with special moments and surprises.
“Working with Peter over the past week has been uplifting and inspiring,” says AJ9.  “Peter is truly a visionary, and he has helped us revolutionize the way that we entertain.  It’s a long drive from Akron, Ohio to East Tennessee, but the perspective I’ve gained from the experience was well-worth the long trip!  I know that with these strategies, techniques, and processes incorporated into our already thorough and personalized approach, Something New Entertainment DJs will continue to raise the bar for special event and wedding entertainment in the Northeast Ohio region and beyond.”
AJ9 also participated in seminars with Tom Haibeck, author of The Perfect Wedding DJThe Wedding MC Handbook and Wedding Toasts Made Easy, as well as Wedding Entertainment Director™ Mark “Marcello” Pedalino, founder of MMP Entertainment, the only three-time DJ of the Year winner, Mike Walter, owner of Elite Entertainment and author of Running Your Multi-Op A-Z, Wedding Entertainment Director™ Larry Williams, founder of Remarkable Weddings entertainment service and author of Customer Service A-Z, and Michael Port, author of the Think Big Revolution.
