Welcome!  The Something New Entertainment Fireside Lounge “Booth.” Photo by Vicki Lantz Photography.

The 3rd Annual Happy Days Lodge Bridal Open House (presented by Old Carolina Barbecue Co.) was Thursday before last, and Something New Entertainment’s own Anna-Jeannine “DJ AJ9” was proud to again serve as the Master of Ceremonies and exclusive entertainment partner for this wonderful event!  We were there to MC, DJ, and light this fabulous fete with several different types of specialty lighting, including accents using bistro style globe lights, uplighting, and feature lighting!

Don’t forget: we’ll be at this same venue for the upcoming (highly-anticipated) Handpicked | A Different Kind of Bridal Event, early next month, and you’re invited!!!!!  Hurry, though, because seating is very limited for this event and with all the gourmet eats, tempting sweets, and signature cocktails, this event is sure to fill up FAST.

Check out some of our favorite photos of the Happy Days Lodge event by our friend Vicki Lantz of Vicki Lantz Photography, below.  Special thanks to Vicki for taking (and sharing) these photos — we were too busy schmoozing with cool couples to take even a single photograph of our own!  THANK YOU, Vicki!

Several preferred vendors collaborated to produce a handful of unique tablescapes in different styles around the room, including a Something New Entertainment feature up on Happy Days Lodge’s generous stage — a lightscaped sweetheart table with a stunning, glowing bistro-style strung globe light canopy, white backdrape, and uplighting accent.  You can see in the photo to the right how it really creates a focal point in the room.  A modified version of this same stunning effect might be nice for a longer, more traditional head table, accent for a super-sweet cupcake table or candy buffet, or even a moonlit wedding ceremony with a lit altar area, mandaap, or chuppah on the Happy Days Lodge screened porch or grounds, depending upon the time of year.  SO many possibilities!

Closer to the center of the room, Leslianne Love of Old Carolina Barbecue planned a design for a table in pinks, ivories, and golds with lush florals in pinks and whites held by golden vases (by Dietz Falls Florist), plus gold chargers, ivory and gold china, glassware, gold flatware, gold glass votive holders, a pintucked iridescent taffeta table cloth and ivory runner with gold chiavari chairs (all by Miller’s Party Rental).

Meanwhile, while Paper Strudel showcased mock menus in a coordinating color scheme highlighting the very Old Carolina Barbecue dishes guests enjoyed during the open house!  Too cute!  Check out detail shots, below:

Another one of the tablescapes Leslianne Love of Old Carolina Barbecue Company had planned explored a red and black color palette — but with a rustic twist.

For this banquet setting, Miller’s Party Rental provided Black- and Gold-Rimmed chargers and china, votive candles, glassware, gold flatware, black linens, and a burlap table runner.  Dietz Falls Florist created a floral centerpiece using a wide array of different sizes and shapes of flowers in a range of reddish tones, complimented by matching stationery — menus, invitations, and RSVP cards by Paper Strudel.
