If you’re checking out the most recent issue of Mobile Beat Magazine, you may notice the name of someone you know on the cover! That’s right — a “Pro DJ Files” interview article about our own Anna-Jeannine is promoted on the cover of this month’s edition.
As you may recall, Anna-Jeannine had a”DJ Toolbox” advice column in Mobile Beat Magazine, last month. This is her third mention in a national DJ publication, this year.
The “action” photos in this article are from Dan and Erin’s 2013 Wedding at 78th Street Studios’ smARTspace (by Hunter Harrison of Hunter Photographic) and from John and Amber’s 2013 Wedding at Conrad Botzum Farmstead (by Anna Zajac Photography).
You can read the full article — which chronicles Anna-Jeannine’s beginnings in the mobile DJ field, as well as the beginnings of her branding “experiment” that became the Something New Entertainment we know, today — on pages 44 and 45 of the May 2015 Issue of Mobile Beat Magazine, online or in print. Make sure to click the audio link in the upper-left-hand corner of Anna-Jeannine’s headshot in the e-edition for the audio recording of the full interview, too, for some “bonus content.”
Anna-Jeannine’s note: Special thanks to the many people who made this article possible, including Carli Felix Smith of Shutter Love Studio, Hunter Harrison of Hunter Photographic, Anna Zajac of Anna Zajac Photography, and Ryan Burger of Mobile Beat Magazine. Also to the many mentors and colleagues who have inspired me to over the years to achieve my goals and to push for new goals, especially: Mark Ferrell, Rebecca Ferrell, Liz Daley, Peter Merry, Mitch Taylor, Bill Hermann, Randy Bartlett, Ron Ruth, Dave Ternier, Jeremy Brech, Aldo Ryan, Glenn Mackay, Miranda Mackay, Michael Durham, Mike Anderson (just to name a very few), as well as my late father-in-law Jack Herman, and — of course — my very first mentor, my very favorite colleague, and my very biggest competitor, Mr. Justin L. Herman.
