A Great Big

Something New Entertainment

Thank You

to those of you who braved the cold to visit us in the Metropolitan at the 9’s iconic Vault VIP Lounge on Sunday, February 15, 2015, between noon and 4:00 PM to visit with us and a handful of the Vendors We Adore, plus some other cool wedding pros at the 4th annual Premiere Weddings Event, produced by JStyle Weddings.

For those of you who couldn’t make it: here’s a quick recap of what you missed:

Guests were greeted — even before the registration table by an elegant champagne display (sponsored and lit by Something New Entertainment) featuring a stunning ice luge commissioned for the occasion.

How COOL is that, right?  Meanwhile… further inside the Vault…

Something New Entertainment’s Booth and Mini-Stage at the 2015 JStyle Weddings Premiere Weddings Event at the Metropolitan at the 9’s Vault Nightclub’s VIP Lounge.  Lighting Design by Something New Entertainment.

The Something New Entertainment booth, featuring our handcrafted sign (read about the construction process, here) was the centerpiece of the Vault Nightclub’s VIP Lounge.

Something New entertained guests throughout the floor while broadcasting live from the Vault VIP Lounge.  Guests enjoyed a mellow mix of covers and classic vocal jazz with a little indie rock peppered in (think The Avett Brothers meets Frank Sinatra) with prize giveaways announced every half-hour by Something New Entertainment’s own Anna-Jeannine “DJ AJ9” HermanWedding Entertainment Director® from the mini-stage setup within the Something New Entertainment booth space.

Her photograph was also featured in the event recap published in the Cleveland Jewish News, on Monday, February 23, 2015.

“The enthusiasm of our vendors coupled with their exquisite displays generated a lot of energy & excitement throughout the day,”

said events and marketing manager Kelly Millet, who organized the event.

“We couldn’t be happier with the quality of the show!”

.

Not only did we get to work with several of the wedding professionals featured on our preferred list of Vendors We Adore (this year’s presenter list included Elegant Events by Maria, Neil Leeson Decor Floral, Be Seated Specialty Furniture Rental, and MKleinman Artistry, just to name a few of the greater Cleveland area vendors represented), but we also got to participate in the first bridal event, ever, at the newly-“coined” Metropolitan at the 9.

Both the Mint Ballroom and Vault Nightclub were dressed to the nines for the 180-or-so Cleveland-area brides, grooms, and bridal entourages who attended, despite the frigid weather, and the event featured designer fashions, delicious food, plenty of pretties, and good times!  You can relive some of the show highlights in the photos, below:

First, Elegant Events by Maria.  Maria was onsite, personally, to speak with clients, surrounded by gilded flowers and gorgeous, luxe linen!

Just across the aisle from Maria, Be Seated Specialty Furniture Rental and Neil Leeson Floral Decor‘s joint space invited guests to have a (very chic) seat!

Next to Neil Leeson and Be Seated, the Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland, had a lavish booth setup featuring over-the-top modern elegance and some surprising pops of color and texture designed by Cleveland’s own Stephen Tokar.

Not far down the aisle, sat Adam Pate the Caricature Artist from Something Fun and Different, along with silhouette artist “Uncle” Tim Hosler.

Also in the ballroom, the team from L’Nique Specialty Linen Rental.  If you’ve seen gorgeous linens in the Cleveland area — chances are they were from L’Nique!!!

We were able to provide a little assistance to Phyllis Lester Designs — bringing her signature cake out of the darkness with a little well-placed lighting.

Inside the Vault Nightclub, Socially Artistic had created several elegant and unexpected floral displays, surrounding the Catan’s Fashions space in the Carnegie Vault.

Within the Carnegie Vault, guests had the opportunity to view several beautiful designer gowns and — perhaps the highlight of this event — to meet legendary bridal designer, James Clifford, in person!

I met him, myself, and he was very kind about allowing me to GUSH for several minutes.  What a total peach, and what a great event, overall!

Hope you enjoyed our recap.
